Analysis

With our project for Pact we used motion graphics for several parts of the video. The most impressive was to show the interior parts of their massage device. We did this by working with our VFX supervisor on set to place tracking markers and then working alongside our VFX team in post production. The challenge was to get the two components(the live action footage, as well as the CAD file) to look seamlessly integrated. The client sent us their completed CAD file and we were able to animate it to fit into the scene. This required camera tracking, rotoscoping out the background, cleaning up the tracking points on set as well as compositing to make the scene look natural. 

A simpler shot we did was a scene completely in VFX. For this shot, we took their CAD file and put their product on a 3d generated scene. We then added some pulses to virtually show the action as well as cinematic lighting and a lens flare to polish it off. This shot was much simpler since it did not require any on set capture, but given it was a closeup, it was imperative that the shot was in high-fidelity and as cinematic as could be. Analysis

In the video below for the Eyeque device, we used our motion graphics services to mimic the in-app display for the actual device. This helped the viewers subtly connect with the intricate details within the app. Often times VFX are seen as a luxury, but it’s obvious that they do much more than adding bling. Essentially they communicate details in other ways. Maybe you need to make something happen that is otherwise not possible.
