Vanessa’s Story

The Boys and Girls Club of Santa Cruz asked us to create the centerpiece film for their 50th anniversary fundraising event. Although the project began as a broad overview of the organization, we quickly realized the strongest approach was to focus on one authentic story that could capture the lasting impact the club has on the lives of the young people it serves.

After interviewing several alumni, Vanessa’s story stood out. Her personal journey showed how the club became a source of stability and support during a difficult period in her life, giving the audience a deeply personal look at the organization’s mission.
